About Us
DTG-BBQ & Catering, Establish in Washington DC in 2018, is a food only, off premise catering company committed to gratifying our clients with delightful, taste bud tingling cuisine. Owner Vincent Johnson and staff approach each opportunity with a passion to turn your event into an unforgettable get together and feast with food that will have your guest raging and praising your event.
Born and raised in Washington DC Vince's roots reach from Martinique ( French West Indies) to Alabama. You can taste these influences from this rich heritage in every dish. Picture this cajon creole meeting southern BBQ along with a passion to make and create some of the most mouth watering dishes, and you have an idea of the deliciousness headed your way. Our other chef, Anna Mills is from the Philippines and brings an authentic Asian cuisine that please your taste buds with every bite. This combination allows us to offer a variety of dishes on our menu that can satisfy your pickiest guest.
Vince went to Archbishop Carroll HS in Washington DC and attended Hampton University in VA, majoring in marketing while working in sales and management he honed his skills in meetings and exceeding clients expectation. Customer satisfaction is the number one goal.
Owner and "award winning chef Vince" pus his foot into every delicious dish he makes turning the simplest dishes into and un forgettable mouth watering experience. Our award winning "SMOKED MAC N CHEESE" is an example that our smoked mac n cheese has won top honors for sides dishes in two out of the three last cooking competitions we've entered. Our Seafood Mac n Cheese stole the show at the 16th annual "Distinguish Men Cooking with the Deltas- Competition and fund raiser.
